Meet the core team


Mark Moncreiffe

Mark is a very experienced transactional lawyer. He has in-depth experience of acquisitions, disposals, corporate reorganisations, financings as well as joint ventures and strategic alliances, private equity and venture capital. In addition to corporate transactions he has wide experience of commercial agreements. Mark's particular business sector expertise lies in the technology, media and communication sectors. 

He has acted for many startup and early-stage businesses. Mark also has experience of working with businesses in a number of Middle Eastern jurisdictions in addition to the UK, Europe, Caribbean and Russia, as well as certain Emerging Markets.

Gina Jennings

Gina is a lawyer and management consultant. She qualified as a barrister but spent the majority of her career as a lawyer at the international law firm, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she was also involved in firm management.

Following her time at Freshfields Gina set up Outer Circle - a management consultancy providing practice management, knowledge management, learning and development, and coaching advice and support to professional services firms and in-house lawyers. Gina was also a Principal with Gulland Padfield, an award-winning management consultancy, and she has also been involved in other sectors, notably healthcare and education. She is a qualified business coach.

Robert Denton

Robert is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years experience as CFO / Finance Director of SMEs across a range of industries, quoted and unquoted. A leading member of management teams realising significant value for shareholders of knowledge-based SMEs funded by PE, VC and similar structures, Robert’s roles have been with niche, market-leading businesses, whose growth and success was based on their IP and know-how, some patented. All marketed their products and services globally, mainly to blue-chip companies on a project-led basis.  

Robert has led and developed global licensee networks across Japan, China, Australia, USA and South America, including negotiating licences and managing IP claims, and outsourcing arrangements in Europe and North Africa. He has directed and supported contract negotiations with customers and suppliers and negotiated claims and settlements with other third parties.

Jennifer Pierce

Jenny is an experienced commercial and intellectual property
lawyer, who has worked for large multinationals but who has also nurtured
startups to the stage where they have traded multinationally, listed and
also where the founders have made successful exits. Much of her work has
been with companies that rely on technology and brands, more especially if
there are commercialising intellectual property and know-how.

Jenny has been a member of the team that listed a technology company on the
premium list of the London Stock Exchange and has also been on the
management board of a not-for-profit film workshop, providing facilities to
young film makers.

John Lojek

John Lojek has 20 years of experience working in technology, strategy and innovation. He’s led roles that span marketing and digital, product development, sales and partnerships, leadership and culture transformation, and product and corporate strategy; collectively they have built a skillset that make a John a great business builder for growing organisations at various stages of development. 

He’s worked in several startups as well as funded and launched his own entrepreneurial ventures working in the US, Europe and SE Asia. John was formerly a Director at Appian and BT. He currently runs one of Google’s strategic partner programs, working with large tech platforms to help digitally enable SMBs.
